For those who are interested in membership at Memorial Presbyterian Church, we are planning two sessions on Sunday, September 27 and October 4 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. These informal sessions allow opportunities for hearing information on the Presbyterian faith tradition, learning about the congregation and ministries here at MPC, and getting to know our pastors and several church leaders (and one another)! We look forward to the chance to meet, knowing that this time of year is particularly busy for many of us.
The classes will be held in person, you can park in the Allen Street lot and use the main doors. On September 27th, we will all meet at the CROP WOK event in Mayton Hall to enjoy food and fellowship. After, we will head down to the conference room (located near the Sunday School rooms) to begin class. If you do not plan to attend the CROP WOK, you can meet in the conference rom at 12:30 p.m. On October 4th, we will meet right in the Conference Room at noon and a light lunch will be provided. Childcare is available onsite for both classes. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to use childcare, along with the ages of your children.
New Members will be welcomed into the congregation on October 11 at both services (you can choose either). If you are interested, but unable to attend either of the classes, please let us know and we will work with you and find an alternative.
