In 2022, Jan Dus and his wife Dr. Anna Dusová founded Camino, a Christian humanitarian organization with a two-fold purpose of providing humanitarian help in Ukraine and organizing tourist-humanitarian trips. Based in the Czech Republic, Camino is a fully volunteer-based organization with no paid staff, including Jan’s position as director.

On Sunday, February 11, Jan will speak with us during worship. Then Reaching Out Regionally and Globally invites you to a soup luncheon with Jan’s presentation in Mayton Hall at 12:00 noon. He says, “The purpose of the trip to the US is to raise support for humanitarian work of Camino and its partners in Ukraine. Camino decided to organize this journey because of the current, hard humanitarian conditions of the most needy in Ukraine. The situation is deteriorating, especially now during the winter.”
