The recitals are 30 minutes in length, starting at 12:15 and ending at 12:45 p.m. and feature music that may be Lenten-themed and/or incorporate a variety of of styles.  The Lenten Recital Series is for the community of Midland and embraces Dr. Strosacker’s  and Memorial Presbyterian’s theology of a house of prayer for all people.  The Lenten Series was initiated by Adrienne Wiley several years ago to highlight the period reflection during Lent with special music, and to bring the community together in an ecumenical setting.  All recitals are on Friday’s during Lent and are open to the public with no charge.
