Jean & J. Lawrence Amos Adult Scholarship Fund
The Jean & J. Lawrence Amos Adult Scholarship was thoughtfully created for people desiring to return to school to complete a degree or certification, thereby improving their marketable skills for employment in order to support themselves and/or their families. The scholarship amount is determined by the committee on an individual basis. The scholarship may be used for fees associated with tuition or class and the purchase of books. All tuition funds are paid directly to the school or program of choice. The scholarship is renewable and based on acceptable grades and good standing with the school or program. Criteria for applicants:
Adult, male or female
21 years of age or older
Midland County resident for at least one year
High school diploma or equivalency
Financial need
Interview required
Criteria for desired Degree or Certification completion:
Master’s Degree
Bachelor’s Degree
Associate’s Degree
Skilled or technical degree
Class to improve skills
