"Growing Adults in Faith” at MPC

We believe that spiritual growth is a lifelong pursuit. We have adult Bible studies, prayer groups, book clubs, and social groups that will help you continue to build your relationship with Christ and other church members.

Bible Studies

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study: Adults meet in the Colonial Room between worship services from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. weekly from September to May and monthly from June to August. New participants are welcome any time, and The Present Word lesson book is provided.

Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study: Adults meet in person and via Zoom in the evenings from September to May.

Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study: All women are invited to this interactive study that meets on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. from September to June. Bring your favorite Bible and meet in the Colonial Room. Materials are provided.

Presbyterian Women Horizons Magazine Bible Study: PW Horizons is our resource for helping women to explore where faith and life connect. From September to May, one circle meets on the first Monday monthly at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom, and another circle meets on the third Wednesday monthly at 9:30 a.m. in the Colonial Room.

Other Studies

Booked for a Spiritual Journey: Our book discussion group encourages spiritual growth, interpersonal relationships, and intellectual pursuits. From September to May, we meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in Room 53 and via Zoom.

Other Topical Classes: We are always open to holding new classes and creating educational opportunities. If you would like to lead a class or if you have an idea, please let us know.
